Toru brings nearly 20 years of experience as a Medical Doctor (cardiovascular internal physician) from Japan to his practice in Toronto, where he is now a Registered Massage Therapist (RMT). After obtaining his Massage Therapy Diploma from ICT Kikkawa College, Toru has been dedicated to providing patient-centered care. Nozomi is a certified Iyengar Yoga Teacher, certified by the Iyengar Yoga Association of Canada, and currently holds a Level 2 certification.

Nozomi’s passion for Iyengar Yoga began in her 20s when she made numerous trips to India. In 2007, she met Usha Devi, a senior Iyengar teacher in Rishikesh, India, and studied under her guidance intensively for four years.

In 2010, Nozomi made the decision to move to Canada to pursue formal Iyengar teacher training. During her three-year training program, she also worked as an assistant teacher in various medical classes at the Yoga Centre Toronto. In 2014, she completed the program and became a certified Iyengar teacher.

Naomi is a Registered Massage Therapist in Ontario and has more than 10 years of clinical experience in Japan as a physiotherapist and in Canada as an RMT.

Before moving to Toronto, she worked as a physiotherapist for more than 7 years in a rehabilitation room at a hospital and home care in Kagoshima, Japan.

After school, Naomi started working as a licensed physiotherapist at Ibusuki Sagara Hospital for more than 7 years. Before moving to Toronto, he personally treated over 35,000 patients in rehabilitation rooms at orthopedic medical clinics, Sports SEIKOTSU clinics, and acupuncture facilities in Tokyo.

As a private sports manual osteopath and acupuncturist, he travels with top athletes for international competitions including US Open Tennis 2022, PyeongChang Olympics 2018, and Beijing Olympics 2022 for sports injury treatment, quick recovery, and alignment to ensure maximum performance.
